Nearly three years later we are very excited to announce the launch of Linkage Designer V2! 🥳

V2 focused on provided a ground up codebase overhaul for better long term stability and maintainability while also adding a number of new features.

Besides a host of small changes and fixes we added:

• Access controls: Bike models can now be locked to prevent accidental changes to database models. For team users models can also be checked-in and checked-out to prevent multiple users modifying the same model simultaneously
• CAD Integration: We now support direct Solidworks integration using a separate plugin. A one-time-password from the app is entered into the CAD plugin to setup a secure link. Geometry and point information can then be synchronized using a single click (saving countless hours of manually copying point data over). More CAD software support is upcoming.
• Optimize Improvements: The optimization solver saw a major overhaul with faster, more accurate, solves and a queue system for tracking active studies.
• Dark Mode: Pretty much says it all. Reduce your eyestrain while looking cooler 😎.
